How are these short treatment times possible?
Recent scientice advances have enhanced our understanding of how the bones grow and heal. As the hardest tissues in the body, bone changes very slowly. However, we’ve discovered that by softening the bone, using a minor periodontal procedure, accelerated remodeling is possible.

Is there any discomfort?
Like convential orthodontics, most patients report only minor discomfort from the periodontal procedure. Even though the discomfort is usually  minimal, we do sometimes see minor swelling and possibly some light bruising. They will go away over the first or second week.
